2012 | competition
the extension of the jewish museum of frankfurt bows itself infront of the old palais de rothschild. because of the curved outline, the side can keeps the existing public park and guiding the visitor to the main entrance. ascending across the inside slope, the new part conects the existing building on it’s highst point. nicolas michelin transfered the fundamental jewish values into these form, to give the museum a new and strong identity.
